6 Return of the Jedi: i always loved how Darth Vader became good out of love for his son, Luke Skywalker. I never get over that final battle between father and son, and how Darth Vader becomes good. Most people do not like Ewoks but it brings back a lot of memories from when i was young and how i loved those bears.I loved the final battle where it seemed that they COULDNT do it, but did. Also, i loved the family relationship with Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker. Though when i was little and watched this, i always thought Leia and Luke should get married.
5 The Empire Strikes Back: I loved Luke's training with Yoda, and his strong character that shows he can stay away from the darkside. Also, when Darth Vader tells Luke he is his father.. epic(:
Episode 3: I loved watching how everything came together.
Episode 1: most people don't like it, but i love watching Anakin show, as a kid, that he CAN do it, and he does.
Episode 4: It was a bit slow for me, but as a child it was my favorite.
Episode 2: the romance was horrible, some of the action scenes were good though.

If the sanctions against Iran were effective, the UN Security Council would not need to apply the fourth round of reprimands against the Asian country. Sounds like a confession of failure from the UN.
The new sanctions work as a way of satisfying the United States's domestic audience. Once again, Barack Obama give way to his conservatives. In the international context, the decision made by the USA is just one more step of an old Washington policy that does not show positive results.
12 members out of 15 from the UN Security Council voted for the sanctions: United States, Russia, United Kingdom, France, China, Austria, Japan, Nigeria, Bosnia, Uganda, Mexico and Gabon. There was one abstention from Lebanon. Brazil and Turkey were opposed.
On the scoreboard, Brazil lost. Politically, it won.
The episode shows the need for a reform in the UN. The week the UN saw Israel refusing the application for international investigation into the disproportionate attack on a ship with humanitarian aid to Gaza, it's Security Council approved sanctions that should strengthen Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the regime of the Ayatollahs. The american pride and blindness are brothers of the fundamentalism and the disrespect regarding human rights in Iran.
Ahmadinejad gave a speech to victimize himself to the international public opinion and to obtain some internal cohesion about his nuclear intentions. Obama may have won one more refreshment from his conservatives. Brazil tried to articulate a different way. Somewhat naive? Maybe. But it tried.
If the fourth round of sanctions should fail, which seems to be the case, will the fifth and the sixth come? Or will the USA make a third simultaneous war? Everything leads to believe not.
Hopefully Obama is buying time and argument to obtain a second mandate. Maybe someday he will return.

Can anyone help me find the name of this cartoon, I have been looking for ages and I just can't find it.
What I remember is it was a cartoon where there were these huge robots/mechas that were at war with each other, and these robots/mechas became more powerful when they had a pilot (not sure if the pilots were human or not).
In one episode they would get all new mecha's one guy would get a spider mecha and he wasn't happy with it.
I think the robots were animals, one of them was a huge spider and it's pilot seat lowered down like an elevator.

It's hard to answer, because Transformers was never deep or anything, but it sucks sooooo hard. I can't decide which is more of an abomination. At least Lucas tried, even though he ruined the franchise and doesn't seem to even get his own story, but Transformers...I don't think Micheal Bay EVER understood what makes a good movie. He just...I...I can't even comprehend why someone would like that, outside of being an immature person. Star Wars is the product of stupidity and Transformers is the product of a different kind of stupidity. Which do you feel is a worse rape of your childhood and why? Personally, I know Star Wars Episode I sucks, but there is some charm about it that I liked. Maybe because it was the first Star Wars movie that came out when I was born, and because if you ignore all the flaws, it does have SOME sense going on...not much, but some. But II is just...painful to seriously watch. I can't think of one memorable thing in it, but even though I loathed the Pod Race, I still remembered some iconic visuals from it, and Darth Maul's pressence was cool. He was useless, but you could see the potential in him. If they cut out most of the political crap and gave Maul a backstory, Episode One coulda been an okay movie.@ dommy d
But the biggest failure of Transformers is this: IT WAS SO EASY! Just make a story with a bunch of robots fighting, but isntead we get stupid characters doing stupid things! It's Transformers! Not, "Sam and Pals!"

There is a planet where two species are at war. They both look alien, and they look very different from each other. An away team winds up with the good guys. They see all sorts of atrocities committed by the bad guys, such as a good guy being mortally wounded and tied up so he doesn't die the right way. They see how evil the bad guys are. Then they get beamed back up to the ship. To their horror, one of the bad guys is standing next to the captain! It's then explained that the "bad guys" are actually relatively good, and that everything the away team saw was a simulation created to make people think the "bad guys" were bad. We know this to be the truth, but when the audience looks at the not-bad-after-all guy, you still have this gut feeling that he's the enemy, because the propaganda has actually twisted the audience's mind as well. Even though we now know they're "good," in just 40 minutes we've been convinced they're bad. I thought it was really brilliant the way they were able to teach a lesson like that.

Around 7:15 this morning (6.20.10), I was laying in bed, and my bed is by a window, and I wasn't really facing the window, and all of a sudden there was a bright orange flash outside, like lightning, but orange. Right after that there was a loud boom, but not like a normal boom, it sounded like in star wars episode II when Jango was shooting rockets at Obi-Wan, kind of like that, like a TONGGGG noise almost. I can't explain it.
I texted Cha Cha and they said it was parts from a Russian rocket. I looked online and there was reports of a fireball streaking across the sky, with a loud boom, the said it wasn't a rocket. I don't know when these reports are, but they don't seem to line up with what I saw. These reports were all on the east coats, and I like right around Seattle, in Washington on the west coast.
Any idea what it could be? I'm really interested in it, and it actually gave me tons of ideas for movies :D thanks!!!!I wasn't asleep, cause my dad had come in (he leaves for work on Sundays, and works all week, I only get to see him on the weekends), and we were talking, and he went outside to see, and there was nothing, so I definitely wasn't asleep.My dad said it could have been a transformer, but no one's power went out.

(i will refer to all the movies so ill just say 1 or 2 or 3 etc.) in episode 1 anakin's mother says he has no father. so either a. she was left by the father. b. he was a virgin birth (i will explain why i said this) or c. she was forced into it and was sold to that wierd flying guy. in episode 2 we see that she has died. now in episode 3 we realize that palpatine is lord sidious, but before we know that he tells of a story of darth plagous. in episode 4 we see that anakin had a son, in 5 we see he has a daughter too. in 6 it all comes togeather with the "prophecy". but i have 3 questions from these. in episode 3 when he tells the story of plagous he says that his "apprentice killed him in his sleep" first question was sidous his apprentice? i ask because he survived an amazing close to death experience (when windu was attaking him) he was being electrcuted, second was darth plagous anakins father? sideous said that he could influence medicloriens to create life. this would result in a virgin birth. and would explain why the medicloriens were going crazy inside young anakin, and were more than yodas, but it would mean that darth plagous loved anakins mom. but since darth sidious killed him, he could no longer prevent the death of her. my 3rd question was anakin the chosen one as stated in the prophecy or was it his son. in episode 6 technicaly anakin killed darth vader and darth sidious, but he could not have defeated them without luke. so luke aided emensly in killing darth vader and sidious. so to sum it all up:
1. was darth sidious the apprentice of darth plagous?
2. was darth plaugous anakins father?
3. was anakin the chosen one or was luke?

I might be (most likely will be) buying a video game soon. I've been thinking, and I've decided I'm probably going to get a Grand Theft Auto game. I'm wondering which one I should get. I've already got Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the iPod Touch. I like it, but I am getting a little tired of looking down with not the best camera angles, and I can't fly anything at all. Not even a helicopter! I don't have a DS. I have a PSP, but it doesn't work. I've played Chinatown Wars for the DS and it was a lot like the version I have now. I've played Liberty City Stories for the PSP and I thought it was pretty good. I then had Vice City and San Andreas. I played San Andreas a lot, but still, I don't think I'd get tired of it if I bought it. I did play Vice City, but only a little, before it, and later on, San Andreas, were deleted from my computer somehow. I've been thinking I want Vice City, but I also like San Andreas. I haven't played Grand Theft Auto IV or Episodes from Liberty City yet, but I have seen game play videos and they're both amazing. I was kind of thinking I'd get Vice City, because it's cheaper, and even though there might not be as many mods for it compared to San Andreas, it also looks like it has good weather (okay, so maybe that is just the city of Vice City itself or Miami, or whatever) but anyway, it seems like a good game. I think it might be easier on my computer since I've heard it has a low amount of storage capacity and I'm just wondering if I should get it or any other game for the PC. Please, PC only. So which should I get? Should I get Vice City, San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto IV or any other one, that's 3D?My favorite character is Tommy Vercetti. Red Sexy Cerebral Phenom vs. Cameron hart (c)
This was the final divas match for now. The divas matches in EWA were known as the bathroom break. The rest of the divas came out to be lumberjills. They both locked up and powered back and forth. Phenom got the advantage and connected a few punches. Then Phenom speared Cameron and ground pounded her until Cameron pushed her off. Cameron walked to the corner and Phenom kicked and stomped Cameron several times. Cameron went for a super kick to the mid section but Phenom caught it. Phenom pulled the leg leaving Cameron in the splits(ouch). Then Phenom kicked Cameron in the face. Cameron rolled out of the ring but the other divas threw her back in the ring. Then they traded slow shots back and forth. Then Cameron hit a dropkick to the knee of Phenom. Then Cameron stomped on Phenoms knee and went for the pin but a two. Cameron kicks Phenom's knee as she rolls around. Phenom uses the turnbuckle to get up but Cameron pushes her foot against the knee. The ref pulls her off. Cameron pulls Phenom off the corner and then flips her over. Cameron lifts up the injured leg and drops it. Then Cameron locks on a half boston crab. She locks it on for a half of a second then going for the pin but a two. Cameron grabs the leg and apllies pressure by holding it. Then Phenom kicked Cameron out of the pressure lock. They both get up and Phenom elbowed Cameron. Cameron keeps on going for punches but Phenom catches it and elbows her back. Then Phenom irish whips Cameron and hits a clothesline. Then another one. Cameron gets back up and Phenom hits a double A spinebuster. 1.............2..........NO! Phenom limps to Cameron and irish whips her into the corner. Phenom runs for a jumping splash but Cameron kicks her in the air! cameron climbs the top rope. Phenom grabs Cameron's neck but Cameron grabs Phenoms arm and jumps off the top rope out to the outside.(Her arm hit the ropes.) Cameron rushed in the ring and pinned Phenom! 1.............2...........NO! Cameron picks up Phenom but Phenom kicks Cameron in the gut. Phenom goes for a tombstone piledriver but Cameron struggles out! Cameron slips from behind then hits the Eye Candy Crusher Neckbreaker! 1...........2...........3!

The ref gets down and checks Icon he whispers in his ear while Rob Morrison stays back. The ref rings the bell and whispers into the ear of the ring announcer. Icon can not continue the match.

After the commercial, it was announced that Icon suffered a torn muscle in the right arm near the elbow when landing the moonsault. He is out for about 2 weeks but will not wrestle when he returns.

I am an animator who loves the Avatar series, but was fairly disappointed, ending with so many unfinished questions. I was inspired by The Dawn of Darkness youtube fan made series, and offered to animate for them myself but was so thrown off by the poor story line that I decided to move on and create my own ideas into a series. I feel like the fans are not ready to throw away such great characters from the original series so I decided to continue the plot with the original roles in mind. I am sorry but I am not aloud to reveal much about this series just yet. However, this will be book 4, Air.
It is 5 years after the war. Aang and the gang are all grown up.
Aang is 17
Sokka is 21
Toph is 17
Katara is 19 etc.
Aang and the gang must face an unsuspected force that fueled the fire nation to cause war against the other nations.
I can promise you that I will try to match the original series as much as possible, animating every movement and gestures from each character, trying to avoid motion tweens as much as possible. Before I aire the first episode, I will create a trailer to pull everyone into the series, and to give them a feel for the color and animation. Before I make the trailer I will need voice actors to play Aang or other roles in the series, such as Katara, Zuko, Sokka, Azula, Toph, Suki, etc. So please feel free to audition for any character including other new ones that will be added into the series. In general I like action/adventure with good character development, mystery, etc. I DON'T like ones that are just comedy/parody, are just about the everyday life, ones that are made for kids or adolescents (no Dragonball, Last Airbender, Naruto, Pokemon, etc.), meccha ones, not even the "classics" like Neon Genesis Evangelion or Eureka 7 (with a couple of exceptions, like GunGrave, Lelouch of the Rebellion, which use them quite a bit, but they are not central to the story), ones that are way abstract (like FLCL), and ones whose story lines are way too slow (no matter how many positive reviews I got of The Record of Lodoss War, I couldn't finish it for the life of me). As a bonus to helping me with my question, there's a chance that you'll find some good anime on my list that you haven't seen yet.
So here's a brief list of some of my favorites:
Black Lagoon (both seasons) - one of my all-time favorites
Bleach - very good, even if slow at times
Claymore
Cowboy Bebop - great characters and action
Death Note - brilliant writing, wonderful characters and suspense
Eifen Lied (not the best, but original and fast-pased enough)
Ergo Proxy - very deep and philosophical, yet with some good action
Final Fantasy - Advent Children (movie) - visually stunning, although boring at times
Full Metal Alchemist (currently watching season 2)
Ghost in the Shell (both seasons) - great action and some interesting philosophical points
Gunslinger Girl (a little weak, but I still enjoyed it)
Hellsing
Last Exile - great animation and a captivating story, great characters too
Lelouch of the Rebellion (both seasons) - very clever and suspenseful, although not nearly as good as Death Note
Monster - even though it's long (74 episodes) and slow at times, this is one of my all-time favorites. the characters, the story-line, the study of the human heart are all top-notch

I'm now college-age, but when I was little (elementary or maybe early middle school age), I remember that my brother and I would make a weekly trip to the Walmart toy section to buy a new Star Wars action figure from this collection of characters. I don't know the brand or anything, but it was a giant wall of characters from the original trilogy and then more from the new movies started showing up when episode I came out.
I found these in a shoebox recently and was curious where I could find the rest of the figures to add to the collection. Walmart hasn't sold them for years... Any suggestions?
